Frida Malmquist is a musician, sound therapist, and intuitive creator with over two decades of experience exploring rhythm, voice, and the art of presence. Her musical expression blends handpan, flute, percussion, and voice into a deeply intuitive and meditative soundscape that invites stillness, connection, and inner listening.

Using music as a tool for healing and transformation, Frida creates spaces where people can reconnect with themselves and each other. Through ceremonies, sound journeys, and immersive musical experiences, she weaves together rhythm, melody, and silence in ways that gently open the heart and nourish authentic presence.

For many years, Frida has guided groups through rhythm, voice, and deep listening practices. Her warm and grounded presence creates an atmosphere where both inner exploration and collective connection can naturally unfold.

As part of the duo Echoes of Devotion, she combines the crystalline tones of the handpan, evocative flute melodies, and her intuitive voice to create music that touches the soul, calms the mind, and invites a deeper experience of being.

Echoes of Devotion invites you to a musical journey into presence, movement, and deep listening.

Created by musicians Frida Malmquist and Rico Persson, the project is rooted in a shared love for intuitive expression, heartfelt connection, and the transformative power of music.

For this festival, Echoes of Devotion invites you into Dance of Devotion – an immersive sound journey where meditative soundscapes, sacred songs, organic rhythms, and ecstatic dance seamlessly weave together into one unfolding experience.

Nothing is planned in advance.

Each journey is created in real time, guided by the energy of the moment and the collective field that emerges between musicians and participants. Through voice, handpan, ngoni, flutes, percussion, loops, and spontaneous musical creation, a unique landscape unfolds – sometimes still and contemplative, sometimes vibrant, wild, and ecstatic.

Dance of Devotion is an invitation to listen deeply, move freely, and surrender to the wisdom of the present moment. A space where music becomes a living prayer, a celebration of aliveness, and a doorway into deeper connection with yourself, each other, and the mystery of life itself.
